My Backpack Ride Back Home

Sliding, winding roads
The crisp air that tunnels it's way through my hair
Gushing emotions and feelings of getting back home
Working my spirit debonair.

Tempted to watch
The slow, steady pains wash away from the body
Watch them flow through hot, soapy water
Non extant and free.

The wind and the trees
Working their magic on hollow lands and elevated grasslands
Breaking free the spirit to its undying state
A realm that understands.

Halfway there I see
The place that had longer for me and I had longer for it
I had waited for me, to be a part of it
Again,  and be one whole.

A Rose for You, A New Life for Me

Words cling on to me for dear life
What you said will remain on the tip of my tongue
As I remember you, and imagine you

In my arms so tight, that I can exhibit wishfullness
To you my sweet love, oh bear thee
The rain has come and parted our ways

But my love for you has not departed,
And you will always be wanted
By me in so many years later

When we will talk together,
Like nothing has happened,
Like time had stopped,

Our conversations as endless as our thoughts,
Your beauty as endless as the stars at night,
We will be together
As one.

How I Lived Through Those Days

Dusty pathways crowded by litterbugs,
Rays shooting through gaps of the hand,
Waiting for the old lover; comfortably seated
With both arms parallel on the sides
We wait for her to come by.
Children playing with small animatronics
Waiting for life ahead; not a dash of worry
On their pure, calm foreheads smooth.
Crying at small mishaps that come by
I still wait for her to come.
She will make me feel happy
After all, I live for another day with her
What will she ask of me? What about these people?
What do they wait for?
Extermination is imminent.

Perception and Cognizance

A face that works both ways,
The one that stays calm even on a stormy sea,
Is also the one that roars while below, on a quiet reef.
Trapped deep, very deep under water
And seems to stay that way.

Hey There, Baby Girl!

This baby girl, her arms are short
Of prejudices she must go through,
Of the evil eyes she’s exposed to,
She does not know what she’s worth.

Hey baby girl, I’m here for you
You’re a goddess sent from god above,
A little trickster with lots of love,
Only if you knew.

Baby girl lend me your hand
We’ll diminish bias and feticide,
I’ll help you nourish that beautiful mind,
You’ll just have to take a stand.

Your consciousness is too high for this world
They simply just don’t understand,
Be in charge and take command!
Your safety is my word.

Hey there, Baby Girl!
You will grow up one day and then,
The world will be overpowered by men,
But you will have to tell them again,
That you are the greatest gift to this world!

Black and White

Between black and white,
Right and wrong,
There are morals,
That I must follow.

Mera Naam Joker

I dwell among the familiar ways,
A familiar face as any,
The mango man they often call me,
I am not one but one in many.

In my lair, I am the king,
Yet pushed around by hooligans.
I am simple and full of heart,
Yet lost in my directions.

The world is my work, my work is my art,
My life is built on the reaction I get,
Sad I am about this devilish system,
Where there is no hope I fret.

The ringmaster carries the show along,
With a big fat grin on his face,
Devious he is as he steals all the credit,
And blames me for all the menace.

Somewhere high above the platform,
God watches our show with discontent,
And waves at me to play along,
Not sure as to what it meant.

To the world I am a joker doing his job,
A joker and just a simple joker,
But for me, for me I am nothing,
Nothing but a performer,

A performer who knows how to do his job,
A performer who works and achieves the most,
A performer who is deceived and is left behind,
A performer who stands up and has nothing to boast.
And yet, at the end of the day,
Hinding tears behind paint,
It is I, the common man,
Who is laughed at.

Rocks

Like a plethora of diamonds,
Ranging from dusk, smooth
Like velvet, obscure yet bright
Pale, blue and cool.

Sparking and vivacious,
All unlike another
Distant and imaginative
With crystal eyes.

The uncanny jade,
Fremd with powers
And exotic life
Changed, tampered and weather’d.

My Armour

All this happened, just don’t know when,
But ever since that, I have always been,
A vigilant guardian in shining armour,
Blissfull, cool and much more calmer.

As history is bound to repeat itself,
My armour protects me from myself,
Ever so often in it’s vigorous gloom,
Blinding all eternal doom.

Because thoughts and things won’t pull me back,
Or remind me of the things I lack,
It will remind me of my dreams,
It reminds me of my memories.

Hiding away has nothing wrong,
Because shielding myself will make me strong,
So I go out in the woods, as wild as I can be,
Because I know my armour will protect me.

Someday

As time flickers by, with every passing moment,
Your mind, your thoughts, your thoughts, your actions,
Never stretch to be complacent.
Never collide to our satisfactions.

Moments define the truths in your life,
Not the way you look, not the way you talk,
Judge who you are and who you might,
Notice all the change you brought.

Somedays shine upon you,
Brings long-lived glory and motivation,
Return of the dominant man you one knew,
Blazing forth without hesitation.

Somedays rain upon you,
Brings grief and sadness to no limits known,
Finds that inner-strength you never knew,
Leaves you collapsed, alone.

Somedays bring heat,
That torch up that fire of agony,
When everything in the world brings you to your knees,
Defiance feels heavenly.

Somedays hail upon you,
When the mind sees the perfection,
Of all that is in view,
And one’s heart is worth rejection.

Somedays dawn upon you,
Give you hope for all that is to come,
When all your dreams become true,
And you think you’re the only one.

Somedays are hard to remember,
Those days are simply forgotten,
Although they change your life forever,
As you bow down before them.

Somedays overshadow you,
As the cool wind begins to stir.
Your life comes into view,
As the sky begins to obscure.

And then comes the time when,
Your broken and beaten down,
Enforcing to never change then,
Hoping that,
Someday, somehow you will realize,
That this world has a meaning,
Opening a new chapter in your life,
Those days will teach you,
To be a better human being.
